Comparison of Marine Ecosystems of Haizhou Bay and Lvsi Fishing Ground in China Based on the Ecopath Model

Recently, under the impacts of environmental shifts and human activities, marine ecosystem conservation recovery have become increasingly important for management sustainable development fishery resources. We construct two Ecopath models to describe compare similarities differences in structure function ecosystems Haizhou Bay (HZB) 2020–2021 Lvsi Fishing Ground (LSFG) 2018–2019 this study. Our results highlight which plankton (e.g., zooplankton phytoplankton) are functional groups with bottom-up effect control congers top-down effect. The between indicate that HZB is relatively mature due higher Finn’s cycling index (FCI), mean path length (FMPL), Connectance Index (CI), System Omnivory (SOI), Ascendency/capacity (A/C). However food web LSFG more diverse stable Overhead/capacity (O/C) (H). possibly low trophic level (TL) species composition ecosystems. Therefore, we suggest stock enhancement release methods should be deployed high TL into designated water areas increase complexity maturity LSFG. This study will help inform regulations different ways facilitate discussion towards establishment strategic planning adaptive management.
